Every Mega TRIPAR Profile Plus has been thoroughly tested and has been shipped in perfect operating con- dition. Carefully check the shipping carton for damage that may have occurred during shipping. If the carton appears to be damaged, carefully inspect your fixture for any damage and be sure all acces- sories necessary to operate the unit have arrived intact.

    • WARRANTY REGISTRATION The Mega TRIPAR Profile Plus carries a 2 year limited warranty. Please fill out the enclosed warranty card to validate your purchase. All returned service items whether under warranty or not, must be freight pre-paid and accompanied by a return authorization (R.A.) number. The R.A. number must be clearly written on the outside of the return package.

    DMX Traits section of this manual for detailed information. The DMX address is set on the back panel of the Mega TRIPAR Profile Plus. Your unit and your DMX controller require a standard 3-pin XLR connector for data input and data output (Figure 1). We recommend Accu-Cable DMX cables. If you are making your own cables, be sure to use standard 110-120 Ohm shielded cable.

  • Page 10 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Sound Active Mode: In this mode the unit will react to sound, and chase through the different colors. 1. Plug the fixture in and press the MODE button until “SoXX” is displayed. “XX” represents the sound active mode (1-16) that is currently selected. 2.
  • Page 11 This function is used to activate and deactivate the wireless receiver. When activated, this allows the unit to be controlled the ADJ LED RC2 remote control. Please see the ADJ LED RC2 Operation section of this manual for details regarding controls and functions.

    MASTER-SLAVE CONFIGURATION Master-Slave Configuration: This function will allows you to link units together to run in a Master-Slave set-up. In a Master-Slave set-up, one unit will act as the controlling unit and the others will react to the controlling units built-in programs.
  • Page 13 Mega TRIPAR Profile Plus. To control the fixture, the controller must be aimed at the front of the fixture and be within the maximum range of 30 feet. To use the ADJ LED RC2, you must first activate the fixture’s infrared receiver, as instructed in the Operating Instructions section of this manual.

    POWER CORD DAISY CHAIN This feature allows multiple fixtures to be linked together via the IEC input and output sockets. The maximum number of units that can be connected in this manner is 30 fixtures. After this values has been reached, an additional power outlet must be used to accommodate any additional features.
