2 Introduction The Equotip Live Leeb D is a portable hardness testing device that can measure a hardness of various test objects and transfer the data to an iOS based device (iOS-based phones and tablets) and back up the data to Eagle’s Workspace webtool, which is accessible from any PC or mobile device, globally.

3.1 Denotation of diode color codes The Equotip Live Leeb D is equipped with the multicolor diodes to indicate the status of the probe and measurement. Depending on the color and behavior e.g. short blinking/ stroboscopic blinking the user will receive additional information regarding the probe status and measurement.

The correct measurement execution involves loading the impact device in the air, placing the probe on a test surface so that the entire support ring sits firmly on the surface, followed by pressing the impact trigger to release the impact body.

4.4 The Equotip App Operation and control of the Equotip Live Leeb D probe is done by using the Equotip App (iOS devices). The Equotip App is based on a modern user interface known from the widely used mobile devices in order to ensure extremely short learning curve, allowing the users to master all the device features in a short time.
