IEC Measurement Categories The probe is not rated for any measurement category. Do not use the probes in circuits with measurement category II, III or IV. LF compensation is performed by connecting the probe to the CAL – output on the oscilloscope front panel and adjusting the LF compensation trimmer to optimum square wave response. For clarification see the following figures. HF Compensation Overshoot doesn´t necessarily need to be adjusted when connecting the probe to your oscilloscope for the first time.
