Cause:
The driver of the electro mechanic brake/ auxiliary electro valve coil is
shorted.
Troubleshooting:

4) EB DRIV. OPEN
Cause:
The EB driver is not able to drive the load.
Troubleshooting:
The driver circuit is damaged in the logic board, which has to be replaced.
5) EB COIL OPEN 04/ EB COIL OPEN
Cause:
This fault appears when the no load is connected between the output
NEB/NAUX (CNA#18) and PEB-PEVP (CNA#17).
Troubleshooting:
- It is suggested to check the harness, in order to verify if EB coil is
connected to the right connector pin and if it is not interrupted.
- If, even connecting the coil to the right pin or replacing it, the alarm is
still present than the problem is inside the controller logic board, replace it.
6) PEB-PEVP NOT OK
Cause:
The PEB-PEVP connector (CNA#17) is not connected to the battery or the
voltage is different.
Traction is stopped if the AUXOUT is used for an electrobrake and PEV is
indispensable for it (AUX OUT FUNCTION = PRESENT).
Troubleshooting:

7) COIL SHORTED EB
Cause:
This alarm occurs when there is a short circuit of the EB/AUX coils connected
to CNA#18 output. After the overload condition has been removed, the alarm
exits automatically by releasing and then enabling a travel demand.
Troubleshooting:

8) CONT. DRIV. EV
Cause:
One or more on/off valve drivers is not able to drive the load (cannot close).
Troubleshooting:
The device or its driving circuit is damaged, replace the controller.
9) DRV. SHOR. EV
Cause:
- The EV driver is shorted.

Check if there is a short or a low impedance pull-down between
NEB/NAUX (CNA#18) and –BATT.
The driver circuit is damaged in the logic board, which has to be
replaced.
The typical root cause for this error code to be displayed is in the harness
or in the load coil. So the very first check to carry out concerns
connections between controller outputs and loads.
In case no failures/problems have been found externally, the problem is
in the controller, which has to be replaced.
