Use a flat-blade screwdriver or a 1/4-inch
nutdriver to remove the five cover
mounting screws, as shown in the figure
below, by turning them counterclockwise.
Save the screws for refastening the cover.

From the rear of the system unit look to see
if there is a card in slot 2.
a. If slot 2 is
empty, go to Step 11 on
page 8.
b. If slot 2 has a card with a G on the
retaining bracket (indicating that it is
an Extended Graphics (XGA) Adapter),
go to Step 18 on page 12.
c. If any other card is in slot
2, move it to
another location and go to Step 11 on
page 8.
