Rotatable Front Panel

The front panel containing the LCD may be rotated 90° clockwise to allow for the EP1100 to be mounted in
a vertical rack system. These systems are used in spaced constrained areas and allow for a more easily read-
able display. NOTE: This panel may only be rotated 90° clockwise or 90° counterclockwise to be returned to
its original position. Rotating this panel may dislodge wiring harnesses internal to the UPS and should only
be performed, with functionality confirmed, before deployment in the field.
To rotate the front panel:
1. Locate and remove the four Phillips screws shown using a #2 Phillips screwdriver.
2. Gently pull the panel away from the chassis to clear the wiring harnesses and rotate 90° clock-
wise. Ensure no wire harnesses were disconnected during rotating.
3. Reinsert the panel and reassemble using the four screws. Notice the LCD position.
4. To return the front panel, follow the first two steps but rotate the panel 90° counterclockwise to
return the front panel to its original position and reassemble using the four screws.
