Push the foot plate against the straight end of the cabled corner pillar . It only fits in one direction and in one position. If in doubt, rotate it until it fits easily. Screw in the foot plate with 6 screws using a cordless screwdriver.

2. Connect the side beam with gearbox to the corner pillars Pull out the cable at the end of the with gearbox through the small cut-out. Using a hex key (large) , slightly loosen the 8 built-in screws at the both ends of the with gearbox (4 on each side).

Place both LED light strips along the grooves on the side beams ( & and end beams , as shown in the figure. Put the connection socket of the LED light strip close to the cabled corner pillar , and put the end of the LED light strip into the top of the corresponding corner pillar if needed.

6. Connect the power cables of the LED strip lights 5 pin 5 pin Connect the cable connector (5-pin) of the side beam with gearbox into the corresponding connector socket on the top of the cabled corner pillar . Then tighten the waterproof connector.

Carefully tuck all connected cables and connectors at the top of the structure back into the corner pillar. 7. Check the alignment of the frame and the distance between the corner pillars You are now almost done assembling the main frame of the pergola. Please double check to ensure all beams and pillars have been assembled and fitted correctly.

Check that all corner pillars are straight and level using a leveler. If the corner pillars or beams are still not level, this means that your main building surface isn’t sufficiently level, and that you will need to raise the corner pillars that are positioned lower than the others.

8. Assemble Crank Gearbox Locate the gearbox on the side beam with gearbox Unscrew and remove the small screw from the crank connector. Insert the crank coupler into the crank connector and re-insert and tighten the small screw.

Place the rest of the louvers into the remaining shaft support brackets. Secure the louvers in the shaft support brackets by fixing a shaft support cover onto the shaft support brackets on both ends of each louver . Use two screws each and secure them with a cordless screwdriver.

Take the connecting strip . Attach it to each louver fitting each of the holes onto the corresponding bolts of the louvers. Secure every bolt with a cotter pin inserting it through the small bolt hole. Repeat this step for all cotter pins.
