Secure strike plate
and remove any
sawdust. template to frame with
tape.Using a bradawl
mark all centres (+).
Then remove template.

Fix into position

Scissors 16mm chisel
Pencil
Mallet
Masking tape
Ø10 and Ø16mm drill
Bradawl
Cross head screwdriver

Cut out lock
templates

Mark centreline of
door and frame.
At required height
mark a horizontal
line on door and
frame.

Mark and chisel
2mm for faceplate
so it is flush.

Chisel out remaining
timber and remove
any sawdust.
Ø16mm

Reverse latch if necessary before install Use remaining fixings
to install the lock into
the door.
Using the centreline
guide and height
guide, tape templates
to door.
Mark the centres of all
holes with a bradawl
then remove template.
