    Product Features and Descriptions Load Leg The CLOUD T Base is equipped with a retractable Load Leg that helps minimize crash forces on a child in a frontal crash. The Load Leg is an effective safety feature of the CLOUD T Base when used properly, and USING IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

When used in aircraft, DO NOT use the Convenience Base when installing this Child Restraint.

Using your full weight, push the Infant Car Seat firmly into the aircraft seat while pulling on the excess seat belt strap to tighten, then route the excess seat belt strap back through the belt slots.

  • Page 71 Securing the Child 2. Place child in Infant Car Seat in seated position, making sure their bottom is in the seat and their back is fully supported. 3. Pull Harness Straps over each arm onto shoulders and around the hips. Make sure Buckle Pad and Harness Buckle are between the legs.
  • Page 72 Securing the Child 7. Pull up on Harness Straps to tighten around the child's hips while holding the Harness Buckle in place. 8. Slowly pull the Adjuster Strap to tighten the Shoulder Straps. A snug strap should not allow any slack. It lies in a relatively straight line without sagging.
