1. Adjust rollers properly for side clear-
ance and tighten with locking screws
provided.
2. Cylinder
cross head wear shoes ex-
cessively loose.
3. Latches not free to turn. With mast
fully
lowered
latch
should
turn
freely.
4. Latch points missing or worn exces-
sively.
2. Adjust wear shoes properly. All side
clearance should be eliminated.
3. Eliminate
tight spots. Check for any
tendency for the latch to bind on the
shaft. Lubricate
shaft.
4. Replace as indicated.
5. Spring return on latches broken or
missing.
6. Channel members of mast binding or
excessively tight in relation
to each
other.
7. Chain adjustment
