This sheet provides installation and operation instructions
for Cascade Drop Stop Kits. Drop Stop Kits are intended to
be installed, maintained and used by trained and qualified
personnel only. The Drop Stop is installed into the hoist
hydraulic circuit and works in both free lift and main lift to
block lowering flow and stop the lowering process. This
avoids slack chains when the load is supported by the floor or
another appropriate load supporting structure. The drop stop
is active when the cab light is 'ON'.
