    1 Allgemeines Bitte lesen Sie diese Gebrauchsanweisung sorgfältig durch, bevor Sie einen Anwender mit dem Volumenausgleichs- strumpf versorgen. 2 Technische Daten Der Volumenausgleichsstrumpf bietet bei Verwendung eines Dichtlippen-Liners die Möglichkeit, Schwankungen des Stumpfvolumens auszugleichen. Durch das angebrachte Haftband auf der Innenseite des Volumenausgleichsstrumpfes kann er sehr leicht auf der Beschichtung des Dichtlippen-Liners fixiert werden.

    7 Anpassung des Volumenausgleichsstrumpfes 7.1 Kürzen des Volumenausgleichsstrumpfes Der Volumenausgleichsstrumpf kann auf 5 festgelegte Längen gekürzt werden, ohne dass ein zusätzliches Absäumen notwendig ist. Bitte gehen Sie wie folgt vor: Der Volumenausgleichsstrumpf kann an der schwarz markierten Trennstellen ohne auftretende Laufmaschen gekürzt werden. Wenden Sie den Volumenausgleichsstrumpf dazu auf links und lockern Sie den schwarzen, überstehenden Faden an der gewünschten Trennstelle um das weitere Vorgehen zu erleichtern (siehe Abb.

    7.2 Besondere Hinweise • Vor einer Versorgung mit dem Volumenausgleichsstrumpf sind die Gege- benheiten durch den Orthopädietechniker genauestens zu prüfen und zu dokumentieren (vgl. Punkt Kontraindikationen). • Sollten Schmerzen während des Tragens auftreten, ziehen Sie den Volumen- ausgleichsstrumpf bitte sofort aus und konsultieren Sie Ihren Orthopädie- techniker.

    9 Pflegeeigenschaften Mit einem Feinwaschmittel können Sie Ihren Volumenausgleichsstrumpf bei 30 °C waschen. Der Volumenausgleichsstrumpf sollte beim Trocknen keiner direkten Hitze ausgesetzt sein (zum Beispiel durch Heizkörper, Sonnenein- strahlung oder ähnliches). Achtung! Der Volumenausgleichsstrumpf sollte nicht mit säure- und fett- haltigen Mitteln, Salben oder Lotionen in Berührung kommen.

    Garantiedauer: 25A45/... Volumenausgleichsstrumpf = 3 Monate Ansprüche aus der Garantie sind unverzüglich, spätestens innerhalb von 1 Monat nach Kenntnis schriftlich bei Streifeneder ortho.production GmbH geltend zu machen. Nach Ablauf dieser Frist ist die Geltendmachung von Rechten aus der Garantie ausdrücklich ausgeschlossen.

    Schäden die auf den Einbau beschädigter Teile, den Einsatz von durch Streifeneder ortho.production GmbH nicht zugelassener Ersatzteile und / oder auf Eingriffe oder Reparaturen durch von Streifeneder ortho.production GmbH nicht autorisierte Händler / Fachbetriebe zurückzuführen sind. Die Garantie gewährt keinen Anspruch auf den Ersatz von Folgeschäden jeglicher Art oder sonstige Schadensersatzansprüche.

    1 General information Please read this instruction manual carefully before applying the volume compensation sock to an user. 2 Technical data The volume compensation sock helps to compensate volume changes of the residual limb volume while using a sealing lip liner. The adhesive tape on the inside of the volume compensation sock makes it very easy to attach to the coating of the sealing lip liner.

    7 Customising the volume compensation sock 7.1 Shortening the volume compensation sock The volume compensation sock can be shortened to 5 fixed lengths without having to create additional seams. Please follow these instructions: The volume compensation sock can be shortened at the black-coded separation points without the occurrence of ladders.

    7.2 Special instructions • Prior to applying the volume compensation sock, the stump condition has to be examined in detail and documented by a trusted prosthetist technician (see “Contraindications”). • If pain occurs during wearing, please remove the volume compensation sock immediately and consult your prosthetist technician.

    9 Care Instructions The volume compensation sock can be washed with gentle fabric detergent at 30 °C / 86 °F. When drying the volume compensation sock, it should not be exposed to direct heat (e. g. heater/radiator, direct sunlight or the like). Attention! The volume compensation sock should not be exposed to acidic or greasy substances, ointments or lotions.

    Guarantee Duration: 25A45/... Volume compensation sock = 3 months Claims under this Guarantee must be asserted immediately in writing to Streifeneder ortho.production GmbH, at the latest within one month after knowledge of the existence of the preconditions for claims under this Guarantee.

    7.2 Indicaciones especiales • Antes de la rehabilitación con la media de compensación de volumen, el técnico ortopédico debe comprobar y documentar cuidadosamente las condiciones (véase el punto Contraindicaciones). • Si se producen dolores durante el uso, retire inmediatamente la media de compensación de volumen y consulte a su técnico ortopédico.

    9 Instrucciones de mantenimiento La media de compensación de volumen se puede lavar a 30 °C con deter- gente neutro. Al secar la media de compensación de volumen no exponerla directamente a fuentes de calor (por ejemplo radiadores, rayos del sol o semejantes).
