Register a touch switch with settings like those indicated below in the screen.
PC address of lamp bit: Bit address of the bit in the PC that indicates op-
Guide character display:Check mark set, ON/OFF switching character
Interlock:
PC address of interlock bit:
With the settings above, the touch switch display will change according to the
operating status of the equipment and the touch switch's operation will be en-
abled/disabled as well.
Suggestions
The interlock function allows individual inputs (numeral or character string in-
put), recipe data editing, and touch switches to be enabled/disabled from the
PC. (See Disabling Touch Switches with Interlock Bits on page 368 for details.)
Bits in the PT status control area can be turned OFF/ON to control the following
PT operations as groups.
Enable/disable the opening of windows (bit 6)
Enable/disable numeral and character string inputs (bit 5)
Enable/disable screen switching (bit 4)
The contents (X) of a PC word are scaled with the equation Y=2X+3 and the re-
sults are displayed in a trend graph.
The calculation Y=2X+3 is executed
continuously in the PT and the results
are displayed in the trend graph.
1. Use the Support Tool to set the following formula in a mathematical table.
Formula format:
Result storage destination:
Operands (from left):
Calculation operators (from left): * and +
2. Register a trend graph in the window that displays numeral memory table
entry 0.
Suggestions
Multiple mathematical formulas can be set in the mathematical table to contin-
uously execute multiple calculations. (Refer to 2-18 Mathematical Function on
page 278 for details.)
It is possible to notify the host of the calculation results by specifying a host
word or a numeral memory table entry that is allocated a host word for the re-
sult storage destination.
