HD Harddisk driver

This driver is installed as TSR and controls the power saving features of the harddisk. After a specified
time, the driver sends an E0h command to the harddisk to stop the spindle motor and the control
electronics. With the next harddisk operation, the system starts up automatically. The two programs,
HD and HDMEM, are used for the following systems:
HD.COM: 486 CPUs with 16 bit I/O mapped access
Without a command-line parameter, the time-out is fixed at 50 sec. Other time-outs can be set with the
following command line parameter (in hexadecimal 0 - ffh):
HD 08 Time-out is 8 x 10sec
HD 20 Time-out is 32 x 10sec
HD FF Time-out is 256 x 10sec
Without a parameter or with the wrong parameter, the HD uses 5 x 10 sec. equal 50 sec. time-out as
default.
= 80sec
= 320sec
= 2560sec
