9.2.7 INT 15h SFR Functions

Use this routines for new applications, instead of the older INT60h functions !
To test the INT15h routines, try the INT15.EXE programm, available on the tooldisk.

WATCHDOG

Enables, strobes and disables the WATCHDOG. After power-up, the
Watchdog is always disabled. Once the Watchdog has been enabled, the
user application must perform a strobe at least every 800ms,
wise the Watchdog performs a hardware reset.

The drive will immediately go to the Standby mode.
The drive will immediately go to the active mode.

If the sector count registers is zero then the timer will
be disabled. If the sector count register is non-zero
the timer will be enabled and initialized with the sec-
count value.

zero the timer will be enabled and initialized with
the sector count value.
If the drive is in active mode, the sector count
registers will be set to 0FFh. If the drive is in,
going to, or recovering from the standby mode, the
sector count register will be set to 000h.
The drive enters the sleep mode. Either a soft- or
hardware reset is required to recover from this
mode. The drive will then go to the standby mode.
