Autofry Installation; Initial Cleaning - MTI AUTOFRY -40E Operator's Manual

You will need assistance to position and install the AutoFry. The approximate weight is 400 pounds.
1.
Remove and save the packing materials
Be sure to inspect the AutoFry. It has left the factory in perfect condition and has been packaged
to withstand rugged travel. In the event the machine is damaged during shipment notify the
carrier immediately and have the driver note it on the bill of lading.

Take out the removable components from inside the AutoFry
•
2 Food Service Baskets
•
2 Teflon Coated Baskets
•
2 Element Cover Plates
•
1 Cleaning Brush

Place the AutoFry in position
•
Make sure that nothing is placed on top of the AutoFry which could obstruct the exhaust
system.
•
Adequate space must be provided so the AutoFry can be moved forward for service without
interference.

Initial Cleaning

•
Wash the Teflon cook baskets and the food service
baskets in warm soapy water followed by a clear water
rinse.
•
Remove each food entry chute by turning the food
chute knob counterclockwise. Figure 1A.
•
Separate the exit chutes from the food entry doors and
wash in warm soapy water followed by a clear water
rinse. Figure 1B.
5.
Sanitize the parts
•
All parts must be sanitized.
•
Reassemble and reinstall the clean, dry parts.
