1. DESCRIPTION
PCT-1600 plus
is a pressure controller to be used in cooling plants requiring control in suction and
exhaust stages. With 16 internal outputs, it enables controlling two compressor banks for the suction
stage and one fan bank for the exhaust stage. The number of outputs for each stage can be freely
configured among all 16 controller outputs.
Besides high and low pressure alarms for each pressure switch,
additional inputs for temperature reading. Such inputs can be used for controlling temperature in suction
and exhaust lines and switching alarms for low and high temperature. Every pressure switch is provided
with alarm interlock in the controller, in addition to a fully programmable reset system. The 16th output of
the controller can be configured to operate either as exhaust control stage or as alarm output to drive
external events.

Besides monitoring alarms internally,
detecting external alarms, selecting day/night time setpoints, and metering output stage consumption.
Thanks to its large versatility, it is able to manage load switching in linear, rotation or per capacity modes.
By means of a RS-485 serial port, it communicates with SITRAD software, making the configuration
easy and quick.
2. APPLICATION
To be applied in cooling process control, used in compressor bank(s) (suction) and in the fan bank
(exhaust).

4. CONFIGURATIONS

Before proceeding to setpoint and setup parameter adjustments, select which
pressure measurement units you want to work with, because changing the parameters makes
the instrument return to its original factory defaults.
