The Waiting Time parameter indicates to the mobile
station how long it may have to wait for response
from the network. The valid entries are in the range
from 0 to 15.
This parameter defines the allowable Number of
random access transmissions on uplink, which can
be in the range from 0 to 15.
The Frame Length Factor indicates whether frame
length definitions in this information element shall
be multiplied by four. The flag is set to 1 in this case.
The timeslot pointer is a bit map field indicating the
timeslots which the MS shall monitor for ACCESS-
ASSIGN messages. The bit map has a size of four
bits,
each
representing
examples:
timeslot 1: 0001 (binary) = 1 (decimal)
timeslot 4: 1000 (binary) = 8 (decimal)
This field defines the minimum priority for access.
The value may be from the range 0 to 7.
This section contains parameters that are trans-
mitted in the SYSINFO PDU from the MLE layer. The
DPU description can be found in ETS 300 392-2 sec-
tion 18.4.2.2.
The allowable subscriber class is a 16-bit field
transmitted in the D-MLE-SYSINFO PDU. The valid
input range is from 0 to 65535.
This is a 12-bit field indicating services that the cell
provides or which the cell requests from the mobile:
Registration, de-registration, priority cell, minimum
mode service, migration, roaming, TETRA voice,
circuit mode data, CONP, SCLNP, air interface en-
cryption, advanced link. These parameterse are
coded into a decimal value in the range 0 to 4095.

This parameter is no longer used. The former
necessary entry 002 for duplex calls now is covered
by the new entry field "BS-CALL type" on the basic
mask.
This parameter is not currently used.
