Installation instructions

Installation and water connections
Make sure that no accessories are left in
the packing.
Use mounting template:
– SHU 5 S see page 14 and 15
– SHU 10 S in the packing.
Please observe the following when installing
the unit:
Boiler vertical, water connections up
(Fig. 8).
In a frost-free room.
Next to a tap where hot water is drawn
most frequently.
Insulate warm water pipe with thermal
insulation (flush).
Hot and cold water line for second
fitting on site, for example, 10 mm
copper pipe.
Please observe national standards and the
regulations of your local water supply
company.
The operation pressure of 7 bar must not
be exceeded.
Install safety group SVMT (7 bar) in the
cold water connection (Fig. 6).
The blow off line of the safety group must
be routed inclined.
Regular maintenance of the safety group is
required (see enclosed instructions of the
safety group).
Set the flow volume of 5 l/min at the
SHU 5 S or 10 l/min at the SHU 10 S at
the locking valve.
A correct flow rate results in:
reduced noises
a large volume of mixed water (see
Fig. 3).
The safety group SVMT,
order no.: 07 05 24
is for standard pressure fittings.
If two sinks are to be supplied (Fig. 6), we
recommend water distributor T pieces,
order no.: 07 05 58.
If a plastic odor trap is used (e. g., DN 40
for the sink), the immersion pipe of the
SMVT is not required. Connect funnel, for
example, with the connector on the
dishwasher.
Water connections on boiler:
right blue = cold water connection
left red = hot water connection
If you confuse the connections,
the hot water heater will not
function.
Material for pipings:
cold water piping - hot water piping
copper pipe copper pipe
steel pipe copper pipe
Pastic pipe systems can be used provided
pipes are made of VPE (cross-linked
HDPE) to DIN 16893 series 2 (20 bars)
tested in accordance with DVGW data
sheets W 531 and W 532.

Lors du déballage, veillez à ce qu'aucun
accessoire ne reste dans l'emballage.
Veuillez utiliser le gabarit de montage:
– SHU 5 S voir page 14 et 15
– SHU 10 S fourni avec l'appareil.
Lors de l'installation, respecter les consignes
ci-après:
Chauffe-eau en position verticale,
raccords hydrauliques vers le haut
(Fig. 8).
dans une pièce à l'abri du gel,
à proximité du point de puisage où les
besoins d'eau chaude sont les plus
fréquents,
protéger les conduites d'eau chaude à
l'aide d'isolant thermique (sous crépi),
prévoir une conduite d'eau chaude et
froide pour la 2e robinetterie à la
charge de l'utilisateur, par ex.: tuyau
cuivre de 10 mm.
Respecter la réglementation du Service des
Eaux.
Ne jamais dépasser la pression de service
maximale de 7 bar.
Installer le groupe de sécurité SVMT
(7 bar) sur le raccord d'eau froide, Fig. 6.
Poser impérativement la conduite
d'évacuation du groupe de sécurité avec
une pente.
Veiller à effectuer un entretien régulier des
dispositifs de sécurité (voir la notice du
groupe de sécurité jointe).
Régler le débit à 5 l/mn pour le SHU 5 S
ou 10 l/mn pour le SHU 10 S au niveau de
la vanne d'arrêt du groupe de sécurité
SVMT. Un débit d'eau correct permet
d'obtenir un faible niveau de bruit lors du
soutirage et une grande quantité d'eau
mélangée (voir Fig. 3).
Le groupe SVMT, réf. 07 05 58 est prévu
pour des robinetteries à pression courantes
du commerce.
Pour l'alimentation de deux lavabos
(Fig. 6), nous conseillons les tés de
distribution d'eau.
En cas d'utilisation d'un siphon en matière
plastique (p. ex.: DN 40 pour évier), le
tube plongeur du SVMT devient superflu.
Relier par ex. l'entonnoir d'écoulement au
raccord du lave-vaisselle.
Raccordements hydrauliques sur le chauffe-
eau.
A droite bleu = raccordement eau froide
A gauche rouge = raccordement eau chaude.
En cas d'inversion des
raccordements, le chauffe-eau ne
pourra pas fonctionner.
Nature des conduites:
- eau froide: cuivre ou acier galvanisé
- eau chaude: cuivre

Montage en wateraansluiting
Let er op dat er geen onderdelen in de
verpakking achterblijven.
Gebruik uitsluitend de montagesjabloon:
– SHU 5 S zie pagina 14 en 15
– SHU 10 S in de verpakking.
Bij de montage moet op het volgende
worden gelet:
Boiler loodrecht, wateraansluitingen naar
boven (Afb. 8).
In een vorstvrije ruimte.
In de buurt van een tappunt, waar het
meest warm water nodig is.
Warmwaterleiding voorzien van
warmte-isolatie (bij weggewerkte
leidingen).
Warm- en koudwaterleiding voor een
eventuele tweede kraan uitvoeren met
bijvoorbeeld 10 mm koperen leiding.
Neem DIN 1988 en de voorschriften van
uw waterleidingmaatschappij in acht.
De bedrijfsoverdruk van 7 bar mag niet
worden overschreden.
In de koudwateraansluiting de
inlaatcombinatie van de aan- en afvoerset
(Afb. 7) installeren. Bij meer dan 5,6 bar
waterdruk op de plaats van montage moet
voor de inlaatcombinatie een
drukreduceerventiel worden geïnstalleerd.
De inlaatcombinatie van het bouwpakket is
uitgevoerd met een trechter, waardoor
druppend water zichtbaar is over een
afstand van 20 mm.
Regelmatig onderhoud van de
beveiligingsvoorziening is vereist (zie
instructiebijlage bij de bouwset).
De hoeveelheid doorstromend water van
de SHU 5 S op 5 l/min en van de
SHU 10 S op 10 l/min instellen aan de
afsluitkraan van de inlaatcombinatie.
De juiste doorstroomhoeveelheid zorgt
voor:
weinig bijgeluiden bij het aftappen
grote menghoeveelheden (Afb. 3).
De aan-/afvoerset is geschikt voor alle
normaal in de handel zijnde drukkranen.
Moeten twee wastafels van warm water
voorzien worden, dan adviseren wij de
warmwaterleiding te voorzien van een
T-stuk.
Wateraansluitingen aan de boiler:
rechts blauw = koudwateraansluiting
links rood = warmwateraansluiting
Door averwisseling van de
aansluitingen wordt de boiler
onbruikbaar.

koudwaterleiding - warmwaterleiding
koperen buis koperen buis
stalen buis koperen buis
Aanwijzing: kunststof buis-systemen mogen
uitsluitend uit VPE bestaan.
