USING DOLBY SURROUND |
1. Turn the EFFECT on with the EFFECT/DIRECT
button.
2. Press the OG MODE button and select DOLBY
PRO LOGIC or 3CH LOGIC.
When DOLBY PRO LOGIC is selected, perform step 3.
When 3CH LOGIC is selected, perform step 4.
Each time this button is pressed, one of the settings
will be selected in the following order.

{SFC mode still ON) = (38ch LOGIC}
3. When DOLBY PRO LOGIC is set, use the center
mode button to select the center mode.
Each time the center mode button is pressed, one of
the settings will be selected in the following order.
c Normal (NORMAL) ~ Phantom FEANTOML)
4. Select the desired sound volume for the center
or rear level.
Use the MODE selector button to set the center level
or rear jevel.
Each time the mode switch button is pressed, one of
the settings will be selected in the following order.
c Center level (CENTER) — Rear level (REAR) >
5. Use the SOUND JOG dial to adjust the sound
arrival time from the speaker.
The sound arrival speed can be set fram 15 ms to 30
ms in 5 ms increments. As the time increases, the
sound from the surround speakers becomes slower
than the front speaker sound, and gives the effect that
the room size has changed.
NOTE
When DOLBY PRO LOGIC or 3CH LOGIC are set ON, the
SMART equalizer, equalizer left, equalizer right, surround,
LPS and GEQ button and FLAT button of the remote con-
trol do not operate.
