6-2-2. Video Tracking Adjustment

Notes
. Tighten the set screw on the tape guide with the following tightening torque.

10 x 10 N.m {1.0 kgf.cm}
. Be sure to check the tape path adjustment after adjusting the video tracking.
And then apply adhesive to the set screw on the tape guide.
Tools
. Tape guide adjustment screwdriver (45):
. Mirror (small round type):
. TP tool:
. Alignment tape HR2-1B:
. Oscilloscope (TEKTRONIX TDS460A or equivalent)
Settings
1. Turn off the power.
2. Connect the 8-pin connector of the TP tool to
the connector CN115 on the SE-741 board.
3. Connect the 5-pin connector of the TP tool to
the connector CN119 on the SE-741 board.
4. Connect the oscilloscope.
CH-1: SAT ENV (SV ADJ No)/TP tool
board
TRIG: SV REF CF/TP tool board
5. Turn on the power.
6. Set the FORMAT menu in the SYSTEM
Setup menu as follows.
(Refer to the Operation Manual.)
LINE: 1080I (1080I)
FRAME: 29.97 (29.97 Hz)
SIGNAL: 422 (4:2:2)
7. Power off and then power on again..
8. Set TEST MODE to "1: SAT Head Env" on
the MECH menu of the Diagnosis menu.
(Refer to Section 3-2-9.)
9. Insert the alignment tape HR2-1B.
