Align both stud bolts of the new platen, with the
holes in the platen carriage.

In case of an power outage, you have to perform some steps to ensure the capping of the printheads.
Make sure the printer is currentless to avoid a possible restart due to an unexpected return of power.

Open the upper door on on the left side of the
GTX600 SB, with one of the enclosed keys.

Remove the CAM cover by lifting it a little and
then pulling it out.

Turn the knob under the platen clockwise to lock
it.

Remove the screws of the CAM cover by hand or
with a flat headed screwdriver.

Take one of the pins from the right side of the
maintenance station.
