To proceed with an EMV transaction:
1
Insert the smart card into the reader
slot.
2
Ensure the contacts on the smart card
are facing upward.
3
Insert the card smoothly and
continuously until it sits firmly.
4
Wait for the application to signal a
completed transaction before
removing the card.
5
Note that premature card removal may
invalidate the transaction.
6
EMV transactions support both credit
and debit card transactions using the
specified procedure.
