Manual Daily Test
• First inspect the defibrillator for signs
of damage.
• It is not necessary to switch the AED
on for the daily test!
• Observe the display to the top right side of the
AED, and perform the following checks.
1. The 'OK' symbol is visible.
2. The battery and service indicator shows more
than one bar, and does not show empty
(no bars) or a spanner symbol.
3. Check that there is one pack of in date
'Quik-Combo' pads preconnected to the
AED, and that the pack of pads is sealed
and in date.
4. There should be one additional set
of adult Quik-Combo pads.
New Weekly Check
• Remove battery and reinstall straight away
