This reminder appears along with the

bo l if the master key is removed from the ve-
hicle w ith the engine running . It is intended
to remind you (e .g. when changing drivers)
not to continue the journey without the mas-
ter key.
If the master key is no longer in the veh icle,
you cannot sw itch off the ignition after stop-
ping the eng ine and you a lso cannot start the
engine again . You also cannot lock the vehicle
from the outs ide .

fa iled . For safety reasons the low beams are
turned o n pe rmanently with the switch in

Have the light/rain sensor checked as soon as

Worn brake pads

contact your authorized Audi dealer or quali -
fied workshop to have all brake pads inspect-
ed. On USA models the warni ng light

Defective light bulb warning
The defective light bulb warning monitors the
function of the light bulbs in the vehicle.
The defective light bulb warning mon itors the
funct ion of t he light bu lbs. If a defective ligh t
bulb is detected, or if a light bulb has burne d
out, a ye llow symbo l

appears as well as a
not ificat ion that shows which light bu lb is de-
fect ive.

- Light bulbs a re under pressure and can
explode when bulbs are replaced - risk of
injur y.
- With gas-discharge lamps* (xenon head-
lights), the high-voltage com ponen t
m ust be ha nd led appropriate ly. Doing
