™ Wireless Bolt 5G Surface Mounting Screw the Bolt 5G lock nut into place and tighten it. Tightening torque: 5 Nm ±10 % IMPORTANT To keep the Bolt 5G sealed against dirt and moisture, make sure the housing sealing ring is properly seated in its groove before tightening the lock nut.

Required IP Address Settings NOTE The Bolt 5G default IP address is 192.168.1.1 and the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0. Set a Static IP Address on Your PC On the PC accessing the Bolt 5G built-in web interface, set a static IP address within the same IP address range as the Bolt 5G IP address.

™ Wireless Bolt 5G Ethernet Settings By default, Internal DHCP Server is set to Enabled. This means that the IP address settings are set automatically by the Bolt 5G internal DHCP server. IP Address Range NOTE When the Bolt 5G is enabled, you can still use static IP addresses within the remaining IP address range.
™ Cellular Settings Wireless Bolt 5G 5.6. Cellular Settings Before You Begin When you are going to connect Bolt 5G to a cellular network, ensure that you have installed a SIM card in the Bolt 5G SIM card holder. Refer to Install SIM Card (page 5.6.1.

Cellular Diagnostics Monitor Signal Strength and Quality You can use the diagnostics information when planning the installation of Bolt 5G. If Bolt 5G is to be placed in a fixed installation and there are several possible locations to choose between, it is viable to monitor the signal strength and quality in the intended locations.
