Recording Title on o Tope in the Oomcorder
^ Hold down the small button on the CAM/
OFF/VIDEO switch while sliding the switch to
CAM.
2 Locate the point of the tape where you wish to
record the title ("Using Quick Edit
/7
p44).
3 Press the TITLE button.
^ Use the REW button to select the title (the title
you have created or the existing title in cam¬
corder you have memorized on page 47) you
wish to record.
CT Press the Start/Stop button to start recording
the title.
g Press the TITLE button to stop recording the
title.
The title graphics disappear from the
viewfinder or LCD monitor and the camcorder
can record normally.
Note: Create and store your title Before an
event you plan to record. Just press the TITLE
button to superimpose the title Over the scene
as you record it. This method avoids erasing
previously recorded material which, will happen
when you record a title on a previously re¬
corded tape.
Recording a Title while Transferring a Tape
2 Connect the camcorder to the VCR (p50).
2 Hold down the TITLE button for at least 3 sec¬
onds: The title setting mode will be entered.

Use the REW, PLAY and STOP buttons to select
the title from memory, and then press the TITLE
button to set the title.
4 Press the TITLE button to turn title off.
C Turn on the VCR and set it to record. Hold
down the small button on the CAM/OFF/
VIDEO switch while sliding the switch to
g Press the TITLE button at the point on the tape
where you wish to record the title.
H Press the TITLE button again to stop recording
the title.
Note: Recording the title during tape transfer
will erase a portion of your recorded material.
Note: If the CAM/OFF/VIDEO switch is set to
VIDEO, the title will appear only in white.
VIDEO. Press PLAY on the camcorder.
