Activating Digital Effects Recording
X Place the camcorder in the record pause mode.
2 Press the EFFECT button to select the digital
effects record mode you want.
"16X9": 16X9 Mode
The picture format can be switched from 4:3 (the
picture format of an ordinary TV set) to 16x9. The
top and bottom of the picture in the viewfinder or
on the LCD monitor become black bars.
Normal Mode 16X9 Mode
"NEGPOS": Negafive/Posifive Mode
The image in the viewfinder or on the LCD moni¬
tor will become negative.
Normal Mode Negafive/Posifive Mode
"MIRROR": Half-mirror Mode
The image in the viewfinder or on the LCD moni¬
tor will change to a symmetric image on the left
and right obtained by placing a mirror at the
center of the screen.'
"MOSAIC": Mosaic Mode
The image in the viewfinder or on the LCD moni¬
tor will be in mosaic.
Normal Mode Mosaic Mode
"ART": Art Mode
The image in the viewfinder or on the LCD moni¬
tor will take on the look of an oil painting.
Normal Mode Art Mode
3 Press the Start/Stop button to start recording.
* To release digital effects recording, repeat¬
edly press the EFFECT button in the record
pause mode until the normal mode is
restored.
