1.
Make sure that the cross-sectional area of the cable is larger than or equal to 0.14 mm
2.
To remove the connector, use screwdriver or similar tool.
3.
Connect the CAN cables.
4.
Connect the power supply.
5.
Plug the connector into the housing.
The shield of the CAN connector is connected to the device ground and the PE on the back of the device (DIN
rail) via a 1 MΩ resistor and a 10 nF capacitor. To achieve highest interference immunity, ground the shield of the
CAN cable.
