PROBLEMS
(SYMPTOMS)
The "Real Time Clock" no longer
functions.
The C300 will not produce full
output.
The Gas purge is not
functioning. No gas flow.
If for any reason you do not understand the test procedures or are unable to perform the tests/repairs safely,
contact the Lincoln Electric Service Department for technical troubleshooting assistance before you proceed.

POSSIBLE AREAS OF
MISADJUSTMENT(S)
OUTPUT AND FUNCTION PROBLEMS
The Control Board Battery may
be faulty. Replace if
necessary. (Type BR2032)
The input voltage may be too
low. See the Check for error
See Status LED
codes.
Troubleshooting in this
section.
Make certain the input voltage
is correct for the machine.
Make sure there is gas
available at the input of the
gas solenoid.
Make certain that the gas line
is not obstructed.
Make sure mode selection is
correct.
Check Set-Up menu "P.8"

The Control Board may be

Perform the Current
Transducer Test.
Perform the Current and
Voltage Calibration
Procedure.
The Control Board may be
faulty. Perform the Control
Board Test.
The gas solenoid may be
faulty.
Perform the Gas Solenoid
Test.
The Wire Drive Board
(FeedHead Board) may be
faulty. Perform the FeedHead
Board Test.
