PROBLEMS
(SYMPTOMS)
Major physical or electrical
damage is evident when the
C300 case is removed.
The input fuses repeatedly fail or
the input circuit breakers keep
tripping.
The machine will not power up.
–no lights or displays-. The
machine appears to be off.
If for any reason you do not understand the test procedures or are unable to perform the tests/repairs safely,
contact the Lincoln Electric Service Department for technical troubleshooting assistance before you proceed.

OUTPUT AND FUNCTION PROBLEMS
Contact your local authorized
Lincoln Electric Service
Facility.
Make certain the fuses or
breakers are properly sized.
The welding procedure may be
drawing too much input current
or the duty cycle may be too
high. Reduce the welding
current and/or reduce the duty
cycle.
Check for error codes.
Status LED Troubleshooting
in this section.
Make sure the proper input
voltage is being applied to the
machine.(check fuses or
breakers)
Make sure the input supply
disconnect has been turned
ON.
Make certain the input power
switch (SW1) is in the ON
position.
Check for error codes.

48VDC is being applied to the
User Interface Board at leads
359B(+) to lead 357B(-). See
the wiring diagram.
