4. Wireless Connectivity
4.1 Connecting to the ELook Pro App
To wirelessly operate the MND65 camera you will need to install the
"ELook Pro" app on your Android or iOS device. To download the app,
search for "ELook Pro" in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You
can also scan the QR code that will be shown on the camera's LCD
screen once Wi-Fi has been activated.
The camera can be operated remotely by following the steps below:
1. Turn the camera on and press the DOWN button to activate the Wi-Fi.
2. The network name (SSID) and the password will be displayed on the
screen.
3. Open your phone's wireless menu, turn all wireless settings on and
connect to the network named "Minolta_MND65_XXXXXXXX" then join the
network, password is 12345678.
4. Exit the wireless menu on your
smartphone and open the "ELook Pro"
app to launch remote operation of the
camcorder.
5. When first launching the app, you will be
prompted to allow the app to use your
location. Select "Allow Once" or "Allow
While Using App". This will allow the
app to communicate with your camcorder
and will allow the app to work properly.
The app will not connect to your
camcorder if you select "Don't Allow".
6. As part of the iOS operating system, your
smartphone's Location Settings must be
enabled in order to allow proper
communication between your
smartphone and your Minolta camcorder.
Selecting will prevent your camcorder
from connecting to the ELook Pro app.
