TO PLAY ONLY DESIRED TRACKS/DISCS
:
Disc all program
f only disc No. is entered, and "AL' appears on the display, all tracks
on the disc can be programmed.
@
Disc all program mode is cancelled when the track number is
entered.
@
Disc all programming cannot be carried out during playback.
Direct program
During normal playback, the track being played can be programmed.
1. Press PGM to enter the program mode.

If you wish to program the track currently playing, press PGM
while the track is playing.
@
Direct programming is not possible during program playback.
Program playback - To program tracks/discs
in desired order
Only in stop mode, disc programming is possible.
Track programming is possible in stop or playback mode. However,

of Bi cannot be used to select tracks during playback mode.
Select stop mode or playback mode before programming.
1 Press PGM on the remote control unit.
@ The PGM indicator lights.
2 Select the disc number which contains the track
to be programmed with the digit buttons, and
then press the DISC SET button.
To program entire discs, enter the desired disc numbers with
the digit buttons and DISC SET, and then go to step 4. Make
sure that the player is in stop mode for Disc programming.
@ When the DISC SET button is pressed, "AL" (all tracks) appears
on the display.
@ When the disc number is programmed, the PGM indicator, the
disc No. and the track No. blink.
@ Only in stop mode, you can use the DISC -/+ buttons. After
selecting the disc No., press DISC SET.
3 Enter the track No. to be programmed with the
digit buttons and then press the TRACK SET
button.
Only in stop mode, you can use Me or mi.
After selecting the
track No., press TRACK SET.
@ When the track number is programmed, the PGM indicator, the
disc No. and the track No. blink.
4 Repeat steps 2 and 3 to program other tracks.
5 Press > or PLAY &.
The tracks are played in the programmed order.
NOTE:
When the disc number is selected with DISC -/+ in step 2, and when
the track is selected with <4 or »® in step 3 in stop mode, the
displayed disc No. or track No. is automatically programmed if eet or
1 is not pressed within 2 seconds. Therefore, be sure to press DISC
~/+ OF Kd, Ri sequentially until the desired disc No. or track No,
appears on the display.
To stop Program playback, press m.
@
Programs containing up to 32 steps can be created.
@
Programming dises or tracks can be carried out during playback.
@
The program contents will not be erased even if the power is
turned off.
@ When DISC -/+ is pressed in the program playback mode, the
program mode
is cancelled, and the program contents are
cleared. The player searches for the disc in ALL mode.
e@ When the programmed disc cannot be detected in program
playback mode, or the programmed track cannot be detected
after TOC is read, that programmed step is cancelled.
**** — not is displayed for about 3 seconds, and next step is
played back.
