O PLAY ONLY DESIRED TRACKS/DISCS

uing normal playback or Magazine Hi-Lite Scan playback,

Press the PROGRAM button to enter the program
mode.
To search for a desired track during normal play
back, itis possible to skip to succeeding tracks by
pressing the M4 <4 or Be PP button.
Also, Magazine Hi-Lite Scan function can be used to move
from track to track through the disc.
if you wish to program the track currently playing,
press the PROGRAM button while the track is
playing.
Direct programming is not possible during program
playback.

trying out recording. Press the ff button on the remote
ntrol unit instead of entering a track number.

For example, when recording on both sides of a cassette
tape, if you program a pause after the last track to be
recorded on the first side, program playback will pause at
that point to allow you to switch tape sides, To resume
program playback after the player enters pause mode,
press the M butten on the remote control unit or >
button on the front panel.
OTES:
A pause can be programmed only when the program
procedure is performed under stop mode.
A pause cannot be progranuned at tha beginning of a
program (P-O1), nor can two pauses be programmed one
after the other
A pause inserted in a program is counted as one step.
Ifa pause is programmed as the last step of a program, the
player will not enter the pause mode.

To erase a program (PD-M426 only} :
The last program step is erased and the contents of the
previous program step are displayed.
NOTE:
Contents of a program can be erased during playback as well.
However tracks preceding the currently playing track cannot
be etased in this way.
To clear all of the program contents:
A. During stop mode, press the m button
B. When the magazine is ejected, the program contents will
be cleared.
To modify the program contents (PD-M426 only}:
1. During program mode, set the player to stop
mode and press the CHECK button on the remote
control unit so that the program step to be
corrected appears on the display.
2. Enter the new disc number
with the DISC
NUMBER (DISC 1-DISC 6) buttons and then press
the Ki <4 or »» >» button so that the new
track number appears on the display.
Press the PROGRAM button.
© Repeat steps 1 through 3 to change other tracks as
desired.
@ If the 44 44 or >
& >! button is not pressed within
2 seconds
when correcting the track number, the
displayed track number is automatically memorized.

All tracks other than deleted tracks/dises # are 'played i in the
order of the discs and track numbers. When tracks have
been played, the player enters stop mode,
NOTE:

To stop Delete program playback, Pross' the a
button.
© Track number 33 or above cannot be deleted.
@ To go to the previous or next disc/track other than the
deleted disc/track, press the kt <4 of b> Pi button.
NOTE:
After programming for Program pléybéck or stg Program
playback mode, Delete programming can not be carried out.
To clear all of the Delete program contents:
'® During stop mode, press the m button,
® When the magazine is ejected, the program contents vaill
be cleared.
'©) Press the CLEAR button on the remote control unit duting
stop mode or play mode. When the CLEAR button i¢
pressed during Delete program playback mode, the player
enters normal playback mode.
