UNDESIRED TRACKS/DISCS
1. During stop mode, press the DELETE button.
The DELETE indicator lights and "DISC?" appears on the
display.
2. Press the disc number button which contains the
track to be deleted.
"AL?" (all tracks) appears and then the display shows
"TRACK?". To delete entire discs, enter the desired disc
numbers with the disc number buttons and go to step 4.
3. Press the << << or >» >> button so that the
track No. to be deleted appears on the display and
press the DELETE button.
[PD-M602 (U.K. model)/ PD-M702 only]
3'. Enter the track No. to be deleted with the digit
buttons.
Only during stop mode, you can use the Ke <4 or me
ri button. After selecting the track No. be sure to press
the DELETE button.
. Repeat steps 2 and 3 (or 3') to delete other tracks.
5. Press the > button.
All tracks other than deleted tracks/discs are played in the
order of the disc and track numbers. When tracks have
been played, the player enters stop mode.

NOTE:
When the track is selected with the kt4@ <4 of > PP! button
in step 3, the displayed track No. is automatically programmed
if the <4 << of mR Pi button is not pressed within 2
seconds. Therefore, be sure to press the <4 <4 oF > DP
button sequentially until the desired track No. appears on the
display.
To stop Delete program playback, press the ™
button.
e@ To enter track No. 11 or above with the digit buttons, see
"Track Search" on page 11. (PD-M602 [U.K. model]/PD-
M702 only)
e Track No. 33 or above cannot be deleted.
e® To go to the previous or next disc/track other than the
deleted disc/track, press the He <<€ or B® PP button.
¢@ The disc number button or digit button (PD-M602 [U.K.
modell/PD-M702 only) can be used to play the disc or track
other than the deleted disc or track.
e |fthe magazine is in the player, the delete program contents
will not be erased even if the power is turned off.
NOTE:
After programming for Program playback or during Program
playback mode, Delete programming can not be carried out.
To clear all of the Delete program contents:
() During stop mode, press the ™ button.
@) When the magazine is ejected, the program contents will be
cleared.
© Press the CLEAR button on the remote controi unit during
stop mode or play mode. When the CLEAR button is
pressed during Delete program playback mode, the player
enters normal playback mode. (Except for PD-M502)
