To preserve the program

1 Press PGM during normal playback.
The player enters to the program mode.
Programming can be
carried out while a track is played back.
When
programming is completed, the track being played is
stopped.
2 Press > to start the program playback.
Programming a pause
|
inserting a pause in your program can be very useful when carrying
out recording. Press I instead of entering a track number.
"PAUSE"
appears in the display window.
e
For example, when recording on both sides of a cassette tape,
if you program a pause after the last track to be recorded on
the first side, program playback will pause at that point to allow
you to switch tape sides. To resume program playback after the
player enters pause mode, press Hl.
NOTES:
®
A pause can be programmed only when the program procedure
is performed under stop mode.
@ A pause cannot be programmed at the beginning of a program
(P-01), nor can two pauses be programmed one after the other.
@ A pause inserted in a program is counted as one step:
To erase a programmed step
CLEAR
in the program mode, press CLEAR.
The last program step is erased and the contents of the previous
program step are displayed (for 5 seconds during playback).
NOTE:
Tracks preceding the currently playing track cannot be erased during
program playback.

© In the program mode, press RANDOM, DISC NUMBER -/+, or
DISC -/+.
® Open the Rolling Rack. The programmed contents of discs in the
rack is cleared.
