Their disadvatage is their low selecvity - the sensor largly responds to other gases for which it is not calibrated. DEGA NSx-PL III LCD PID with a photoionizaon sensor (PID) The sensive scanning method for detecon of a wide range of VOC - volale organic compounds. The sensor does not selecvely detect all VOCs in the air at concentraons in ppm.

Connecng the sensor via RS485 to the controller DEGA UKAIII/DEGA UPA III Note: Connecon of transmiers with control panel only by DEGA protocol, not MODBUS protocol.
120R. Plug a jumper on the JP2 connector of the last device on the bus to include the 120R terminang resistor. In the default configuaraon, the jumper connector is not plugged. 9. Communicaon protocol switch DEGA/MODBUS Plugging a jumper in the JP1 connector will swch from the DEGA communicaon protocol to the MODBUS communicaon protocol. Detector funcons The detector's motherboard is equipped by status LEDs, which help in detecng problems during the installaon.
4. Monitoring the calibraon periods The detector connuously checks the calibraon validity of the connected sensor. Aer 12 months since the last calibraon (Max. calibraon interval) the LED "ERR" starts flashing and an inscripon starts flashing on the LCD display. The connected sensor must be calibrated immediately. The detector will transmit the informaon about the ending calibraon via current loop.
