In-Built Safety Feature

• When solenoids are activated, there is an automatic shut-off after 30 minutes.
This prevents water flow and risk of flooding. When used with a PIR the automatic
shut off period for the solenoids is set by the PIR.
• If one solenoid fails to open, the Whale Sense closes the other solenoid and shuts of
the water supply to the shower to prevent either scalding or cold-water shock to the user*.
This feature activates when the unit is operating on its own or in combination with the
Instant Match.
*Water automatically shuts off when not in use. In the event of the hot or cold solenoid
failing, Whale Sense will automatically shut off the water supply. To meet relevant safety
requirements, Whale Sense must be used with a TMV2 or TMV3 mixer.
