1. The Whale Sense unit should be installed in an accessible location within 7 meters of the transformer.
Fig 5. shows the Whale Sense in the area above the bathroom i.e. loft space.
2. To transmit the flow information for the mixer shower either flow sensors or flow switches may be used.
The advantage of a flow sensor is that the pump speed will automatically adjust to the flow rate of the shower. For
connections for a Sika Sensor (SDS263T) see Fig 6.A and for connection for a Whale flow switch (AK1568) see Fig 6.B.
3. The corresponding settings for a flow sensor and a flow switch on the Whale Instant Match transformer are shown in
Fig 7.A and Fig 7.B. When using a Whale flow switch (AK1568), the speed of the pump should be manually matched with
the flow rate of the shower. Move the blue jumper on the Instant Match transformer to increase or decrease the pump
speed as required.
4. Pairing of Whale Sense to Whale Instant Match

the LED on the Instant Match transformer will flash blue every 10 seconds.
7. PIR Solenoid Control - (Opens the solenoids)
