4.19 INSTALLATION OF OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT
NOTE
THE CPU BOARD (210-7886) CONTAINS ALL THE
ELECTRONICS REQUIRED FOR THE OPERATION OF
BOTH THE TWIN SHEET FEEDER AND THE ENVELOPE FEEDER.
4.19.1 INSTALLATION OF THE TWIN SHEET
AND
ENVELOPE FEEDER KIT UJ 206-1196
The twin sheet feeder and envelope feeder kit contains a mounting plate
with two self threading screw holes, a six pin keyed threaded connector, a 15
pin DIP connector, a ribbon cable with DIP connectors, and a six wire cable
hard wired to the six pin keyed threaded connector with its remaining end
terminated with a DIP connector.
a. Remove the Siblink protective cover plate.
b. Remove the Siblink PCB and disconnect the connector from jack Jl.
c. Remove the two #4 pan head screws and the blank cover plate from the
rear panel of the printer •
d. Secure the mounting plate to the printer rear panel with the two #4
pan head screws removed in step c. above.
e. Insert the 16 pin DIP connector into jack J4 on the CPU board.
f. Insert the eight pin keyed connector into jack J3 on the CPU
board.
g. For the standard application, set the Siblink board (WL# 210-8038-lA)
switches for an address of 404 (see figure 4-2) as follows:
SW 1 - bits 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 OFF and bit 6 ON
SW 2 - bits 1 through 8 OFF
SW 3 - bits 1, 3, 4. ON and bit 2 OFF
h. For the nonstandard three line down application using the TSF, set
the Siblink (WL# 210-8038-lA) board switches for an address of 414
(see figure 4-2) as follows:
SW 1 - bits 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8 OFF and bits 4 and 6 ON
SW 2 - bits
1
through 8 OFF
SW 3 - bits 1, 3, 4 ON and bit 2 OFF

Insert the Siblink board into the printer and reconnect its cable
connector to jack Jl.
j. Install the Siblink protective cover in position behind the Siblink
board.
