PRELIMINARY INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

a)
Remove unit from crate and inspect for shipping damage. If any damage
is found, notify the carrier immediately. You are responsible for filling any
claims directly with the carrier.
b)
Locate machine in position on a level floor in a well ventilated area with
access to air power. System requires approximately 4' x 6' floor space
with a 9' ceiling clearance.
c)
Air Supply: Machine requires two air lines; 80 PSIG at 30 CFPM main air
supply and another for the mixer air motor. Connect 1/2" air line to main
air inlet (located under meter base plate) with 1/2" ball valve (do not use
quick disconnects; too restrictive). See recommended air supply hook-up
diagram located in this section.
For systems with Air Powered Dynamic Mixers (i.e., 8908-3 or 8980-3),
supply separate 3/4" air line directly to mixer air motor inlet. A ball valve is
located at air motor inlet to mixer.
d)
On the main air control, fill air line lubricator with SAE 10W non-detergent
oil. Adjust lubricator to dispense one drop per minute while machine is
running.
e)
Note location of filter or water trap on main air control. Filter should be
checked daily for water and drained as required. Small knob at bottom of
filter will allow water to drain.
f)
Note location of regulators and controls for system:
