Use on clothing

Hang the creased piece of clothing onto a coat
hanger.
Gently stretch the item with one hand and hold
it, then apply steam from top to bottom. Com-
bine steam with the clothes brush r for gentle
removal of all creases.
Gently apply pressure with the clothes brush r
and move the appliance over the piece of cloth-
ing from top to bottom. You can press the steam
burst button 8 at brief intervals.
NOTE
Only repeat pressing the steam burst button 8
until the heat-up indicator lamp 5 lights up or
water drips from the ironing sole 0. Wait until
the heat-up indicator lamp 5 goes out before
initiating another burst of steam.
If the heat-up indicator lamp 5 lights up during
operation, do not press the steam blast button 8
again. Wait a few seconds until the heat-up
indicator lamp 5 goes out before pressing the
steam blast button 8 again.
NOTE
If you press the steam burst button 8 while the
heat-up indicator lamp 5 is illuminated, the
appliance will produce condensation instead
of steam, and water will drip from the ironing
sole 0.
Allow treated clothes to cool down on a coat
hanger before wearing them.

Use on curtains and upholstery

You can remove creases and wrinkles from
draperies by hanging them on a rail.
Simply adhere to the instructions under "Use on
clothing".
Always carry out a test treatment on an invisible
patch of the item.
If you are using the appliance horizontally, turn
it vertical every now and then to produce the
greatest possible amount of steam.
