Exclusion of liability

PRODUCT MUST NOT BE CHANGED. IN CASE OF NON-COMPLIANCE ALL GUARANTEE CLAIMS BECOME INVALID.
MOTOGADGET ACCEPTS NO LIABILITY FOR DIRECT OR INDIRECT DAMAGE OR SUBSEQUENT DAMAGE OF ANY
KIND RESULTING FROM THE USE AND INSTALLATION OF THE STREAMLINE CUP OR OTHER DELIVERED

General advice

Make sure the Streamline cup is mounted safely. Due to its heavy weight high forces might occur on the clamping part if vibrations act on the
assembly. Use medium strength screw adhesive.
The mirror polished surface is extreme sensitive. Avoid any contact with sharp objects. The surface can be cleaned with metal polish and a
soft cloth.

Preparing the installation

Loosen the M5 screw at the copped end of the cup. Remove the screw and the inner bracket.
Loosen the M5 screw inside the cup and remove the screw and clamp.
Take both cable connectors of the motoscope classic and bend the barbs of the connector's contacts back into a neutral position by using
a sharp object (i.e. needle). Remove the contacts from the connector housings. Therefore don't pull at the cables. Push the unlocked
contacts out of the housing by using a small screw driver blade.

Installation

Remove the bag with two M4 screws and washers out of the inner bracket.
Thread the cable contacts trough the big central hole at the end face from the inner bracket trough the side hole of the inner bracket.
Mount the inner bracket with two M4 screws at the motoscope classic. Make sure the direction of the side hole is 6 o'clock (downwards).
Do not exceed the maximum tightening torque which is 4 N
Thread every contact from inside the cup trough the big side hole of the cup. Put only one contact at the time trough the hole. Make sure
the contact pass the hole completely before putting the next contact into the hole. Use a small long-nosed pliers or a tweezers to pull the
contact trough the hole.
Open the clamp and put it on the mounting location at the handle bar. Close the clamp.
Place the cup onto the clamp. Make sure the clamp fits completely into the cups pocket and don't cant. Put the M5 Screw from inside the
cup into the hole and screw it into the clamps thread. Adjust the angle and position of the clamp and tighten the M5 screw.
Move the motoscope classic into the cup. Make sure the instrument and cable are not cant during this operation. Lead the cable step by
step trough the cup's hole.
Put the second M5 screw into the hole at the copped end of the cup. Tighten this screw gently.
Bend all connector barbs back in locking position. Put the connector contacts back into the connector housings. You can find the
documentation of contact positions and cable colours in the last chapter of the motoscope classic instruction manual.
