    Introduction The Agilia Holder Ambulance allows the use of Agilia IV pumps in road ambulances. This document is intended for:  Biomedical departments in order to install the Agilia Holder Ambulance properly.  End users of Agilia Holder Ambulance. 1.1 Scope This document is applicable to the Agilia Holder Ambulance.

    1.5 Use environment Warning:  Agilia Holder Ambulance should be used under the specified operational and storage conditions listed below to ensure its proper performance.  Due to use environment (into road ambulances), Agilia Holder Ambulance can be hot.  It is recommended to check and charge the Agilia IV pump battery to avoid that the infusion stops in case of short or long interruptions of mains power.

    2.2 Packaging content The Agilia Holder Ambulance packaging contains the following elements:  one Agilia Holder Ambulance with its two keys for one Agilia IV pump.  one ‘Mounting instructions and Instructions for Use’.  one number 13 wrench.  one hexagonal 6 pans wrench.

    The Agilia Holder Ambulance should be positioned into the road ambulance at a minimum height so that the line remains loose be- tween the pump and the IV access. Fix the Agilia Holder Ambulance in the road ambulance prior to install an Agilia IV pump.

    6.4 Cleaning guidelines and protocol Agilia Holder Ambulance is part of the patient’s immediate environment. It is advisable to clean the Agilia Holder Ambulance regularly and especially before connecting a new patient and after removal of the Agilia IV pump as well as before any maintenance op- eration in order to protect the patient and the operator.

    1. Prepare the detergent-disinfectant solution. 2. Remove the Agilia IV pump from the Agilia Holder Ambulance . 3. Moisten by vaporization of detergent-disinfectant solution the Agilia Holder Ambulance , including the mobile parts.

    Clean and disinfect, then pack it in the provided packaging and ship to Fresenius Kabi. Fresenius Kabi is not liable for loss or damage to the Agilia Holder Ambulance during transport. For maintenance of Agilia IV pumps, please refer to the Instructions For Use.
