I I N TENDED USE This hedge trimmer is intended for cutting and trimming hedges and bushes in domestic use. It is not intended to be used for cutting above shoulder level. Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.

5) Battery tool use and care Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack. Use power tools only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.

For complete charging instructions, refer to the Operator"s Manuals for your TPT battery pack and charger models. NOTE: To avoid serious personal injury, always remove the battery pack and keep hands clear of the lock-out button when carrying or transporting the tool. Place the battery pack in the hedge trimmer.
STOPPING THE HEDGE TRIMMER Re lease the trigger to stop the hedge trimmer. Re move battery pack from the hedge trimmer. OPERATING TIPS Do not force the hedge trimmer through heavy shrubbery. T his can cause the blades to bind and slow down.
WARNING Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are tend to damage from various types of solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use a clean cloth to remove dirt, oil, grease, etc. When servicing use only identical TPT replacement parts. Use of any other parts can create a hazard or cause p roduct damage.
SHARPENING BLADE Allow the blades of the hedge trimmer to come to a stop in the position. T his will allow clearance for the file between cutter teeth and guard teeth. WARNING Re move battery pack from hedge trimmer. Clamp blade assembly in a vice and file the exposed cutting surface of each blade tooth with a 203 mm (8 inch) smooth round file, 6.4 mm (1/4inch) or 5.6mm (7/32 inch) diameter.
CLEANING THE HEDGE TRIMMER WARNING To prevent serious personal injury, remove the battery pack before servicing, cleaning, or removing material from the unit. Re move the battery pack. Clean the unit using a damp cloth with a mild detergent. Do not use any strong detergents on the plastic housing or the handle. They can be damaged by certain aromatic oils such as pine and lemon, and by solvents such as kerosene.

DISPOSAL Separate collection. This product must not be disposed of with normal household waste. Please recycle where possible. Separate collection of used products and packaging allows materials to be recycled and used again. Re-use of recycled materials helps prevent environmental pollution and reduces the demand for raw materials.
GUARANTEE This product has a 3 year guarantee. This guarantee is only valid if the product has not been used correctly and all the instructions have been followed. In order to prove guarantee a receipt must be presented. The product has to be complete and have all its parts.
