OPERATION

Tips and notes on handling the cordless impact wrench
General information:
• Check the accessory in the tool holder for proper fit before every application.
• The centre position of the clockwise/counter-clockwise rotation switch (lock) is suited for work breaks or tool change.
Screwing:
• In case of soft wood, screws can be screwed in without pre-drilling.
• In case of hard wood or large screws, it is recommended to use a drill for pre-drilling.
• When using countersunk screws, the drill hole should be countersunk beforehand.
• Especially smaller screws and bits may be damaged when selecting an excessive torque and/or speed of the tool.
Selecting the rotational direction
Note: To avoid damaging the gear, only change the rotational direction when the device is at a standstill.
The motor's rotational direction can be changed by means of the switch for clockwise/counter-clockwise rotation (2).
1. Press the switch for clockwise/counter-clockwise rotation (2) in all the way on that side towards which the motor shall rotate.
2. Carry out a short test run to see whether the rotational direction may damage the tool and/or workpiece.
3. If required, set the switch for clockwise/counter-clockwise rotation (2) to centre position (lock) to block the on/off switch (3).
