Battery use and care
• Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used
with another incompatible battery pack.
• Use power tools only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
• When the battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that
can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
• Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery. Avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes,
seek medical help immediately. Contact with ejected battery liquid may cause irritation or burns.
• Do not use a damaged or modified battery. Damaged or modified batteries can behave unexpectedly and lead to fires, explosions or injuries.
• Do not expose a battery to fire or excessively high temperatures. Exposure to fire or temperatures above 130 °C (265 °F) may cause an explosion.
• Follow all the instructions for charging and never charge the battery or the cordless power tool outside the temperature range specified in the operating
instructions. Incorrect charging or charging outside of the permissible temperature range can destroy the battery and increase the risk of fire.
Service
• Have your power tool serviced by qualified repair personnel using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is
maintained.
• Never service damaged battery packs. Service of battery packs should only be performed by the manufacturer or authorized service providers.
Instructions for proper and safe operation of the cordless impact wrench
• Secure the workpiece. Use of a vise or other similar tool is more secure than holding the workpiece by hand.
• Hold the power tool firmly. When tightening or loosening screws, high reaction torques can occasionally occur.
• Hold power tool by insulated gripping surfaces when performing an operation where the cutting accessory may contact hidden wiring. Cutting accessory
contacting a "live" wire may make exposed metal parts of the power tool "live" and could give the operator an electric shock.
• Before maintenance and repair work is performed on the device, as well as during transport or storage, set the switch for the rotational direction to
centre position (locked). This prevents unintentional starting of the power tool.
• Regularly check the tool holder for wear or damage.
• Only start the cordless impact wrench while holding it against the workpiece.
• Wait until the power tool has come to a standstill, before putting it down.
• The cordless impact wrench is only intended for screwing in and loosening screws as well as for tightening and loosening nuts.
• The cordless impact wrench is not intended for drilling.
