5. CONFIGURABLE INPUTS

Configurable inputs have an assigned function ( Configurable
inputs - DEFAULT), which is modifiable in programming ( Confi-
gurable inputs - AVAILABLE SETTINGS). Some functions vary if the
Energy Saving is active (relative § Section).

CONNECTIONS

Only connect devices with a volt free contact to configurable inputs.
The contact of the device must be connected between the input
and GND.

PROGRAMMING

For the available options, see the table  Configurable inputs - AVAIL-
ABLE SETTINGS and the subsequent sections. The input is activated
according to how the contact logic is programmed:
NO = the input activates when the contact closes
NC = the input activates when the contact opens
- from Board:
Basic Programming for the inputs of terminal board J21. Advanced Programming for
the inputs of terminal boards J1, J4 and J7.
The default contact logic can only be modified via the SDK EVO. The test (
is only available for the inputs configured as Opening Safety, Closing Safety and
Safety STOP.
- from SDK EVO:

...FUNCTION (assign the function no...61)
...NO/NC (the contact logic must be programmed according to the type of contact
of the device)
...TEST (available for inputs configured as Safeties)
