12.5.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
All models have a built-in battery backup to
save operating information when the grinder
is shut down. When this battery is depleted,
it must be replaced with another of the same
characteristics: CR2032 (3V Lithium Cell).
The battery should be changed when the
grinder no longer maintains dose times.
The procedure for replacing the battery
without losing the operational data stored in
the grinder is as follows:
Remove the exit chute ( ) as shown
in section 11.3.1. Also, remove the grind
regulator (
) by performing the same
operations described in sections 12.3.9 or
12.3.6, depending on whether the grinder
uses the Lock Load System or not.
Turn with a #3 Hex Allen key just 360º
counterclockwise (Fig. 23). Remove
with a #3 Hex Allen key the screw in the
bottom of the plastic cover (Fig. 24).

Pull the display cover and unclip the
cables from the PCB (Fig. 25) loosen the
last screw T20 Torx and pull to remove it
(Fig. 26).

Remove the battery from its holder inside
the control panel and replace it with a
new one (Fig. 27).
