Note
When using isopropyl alcohol for cleaning, make sure that the alcohol is at least
90 percent pure. (Never use rubbing alcohol or alcohol with additives; it can
damage the printer.) You can also use pre-soaked alcohol wipes (order number
006-7824-01).
Regularly scheduled cleaning is not necessary for this printer. However, if your printer
experiences frequent media jams, clean these printer parts:

Paper-pick rollers (a)

I Use a lint-free cloth with 90 percent pure isopropyl alcohol.

Paper-feed rollers (b) on the Lower Tray Assembly

Duplex Unit

I Use a lint-free cloth with 90 percent pure isopropyl alcohol.

Sensor

I Use a dry lint-free cloth.
